Slender steel braces support adjustable shelves that seem to float in the air thanks to invisible support mechanisms. Trasparency and lightness in space made up of air. Slender steel braces support adjustable shelves that seem to “magically” float in the air thanks to their invisible support mechanisms.
The table Arc embodies the innovative concepts which distinguish it.
The base shape is inspired by the technostructures currently used in modern building: a new “light” cement which mixes colour and a special fibrous material obtaining resistant structures with a low specific weight. Printed in a single block and dyed. It allows the manufacture of complex shapes, the Arc table combines the structural characteristics of strength and elasticity with innovative concepts such as complete recyclability and low environmental impact of the production cycle.
The new seating system reflects the Molteni&C corporate profile, based on two key words: tradition and technology, linked by the leitmotif of perfectly clean lines. The Gliss Master wardrobe system has been enriched with a new type of door featuring an ingenious opening mechanism: Sistema 7. The core of the design is a patented, horizontally folding mechanism that enables the doors to be moved effortlessly and silently from their initial housing at the side of the compartment, thereby making it fully accessible.
The doors thus opened and folded back, are aligned parallel to the adjacent compartment,
without occupying space in front of it. Sistema 7 is designed to accommodate very thick doors, lacquered,
in wood or glass with patterned acid etching on the front.
